ABOUT Homemade Ginger Candy RECIPE

#earnwithbetterbutter.Ginger candy is my daughters favourite candy.Best for nausea,sore throat,digestion,travel sickness,immunity builder.I always have this small stash of ginger candies in my hand bag and on my dining table plating it beautifully for my family especially my daughter which is her favourite from one of my receipes..

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. ginger finely chopped 1 cup
  2. jaggery 1 cup
  3. water 1 cup
  4. clove powder 1/4 tsp
  5. honey 2 tsp
  6. Powdered sugar 1 cup

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP OF EACH OF WATER, JAGGERY & PEELED, CHOPPED GINGER, 1/4 TSP CLOVE POWDER
  2. ADD THE GINGER INTO A MIXER JAR, BLEND TO MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE
  3. COOK THE GINGER PASTE & JAGGERY ON SLOW HEAT
  4. ADD THE WATER & CLOVE POWDER
  5. MIX & ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO COME TO A BOIL
  6. ONCE IT STARTS BOILING, SIMMER & COOK UNTIL THICK
  7. ADD 2 TSP HONEY, MIX & COOK FOR 2 MINS, TAKE OFF HEAT
  8. ALLOW IT TO COOL, IT WILL TURN THICK LIKE THIS, APPLY GHEE ON YOUR PALMS
  9. MAKE SMALL BALLS FROM THE DOUGH, ROLL OVER POWDERED SUGAR
  10. GET ALL THE BALLS READY IN THE SAME MANNER, ARRANGE ON A TRAY, SET ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR
  11. STORE IN AN AIR TIGHT GLASS JAR FOR 15 DAYS, HAVE ONE DAILY FOR BETTER DIGESTION & IMMUNITY
