ABOUT Hersheys Chilli Potatoes with a Tangy Twist RECIPE

French fries made with twist here by adding some garlic, chillies and strawberry syrup. Its really very delicious so try it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potatoes 2
  2. Corn starch 2 tbsp
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Oil for deep fry
  5. Oil 2 tbsp
  6. Chopped garlic 1 tsp
  7. Chopped spring Onions 1/4 cup
  8. Chopped green chilli 4
  9. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  10. Green chilli sauce 1 tbsp
  11. Red chilli sauce 1 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Hershey's strawberry syrup 1/2 cup
  14. Coriander leaves 1/2 tsp
  15. Chopped green garlic 1/2 tsp
  16. Chopped spring onion 1/2 tsp
  17. Sesame seeds 1 tsp
  18. Hershey's strawberry syrup 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. WASH, PEEL & SLICE 2 POTATOES INTO FINGER CHIPS
  2. ADD THE POTATOES TO A BOWL, RINSE & WASH
  3. DRAIN & SPREAD ON A KITCHEN CLOTH, PAT DRY
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP SALT, 2 TBSP CORNFLOUR TO THE DRIED POTATOES
  5. MIX WELL
  6. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  7. FRY UNTIL THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  8. ONCE DONE, PLACE ON TISSUE PAPER, SET ASIDE
  9. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP CHOPPED GARLIC
  10. ADD 4 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, SAUTE
  11. ADD 1/4 CUP CHOPPED SPRING ONION GREENS
  12. ADD 1 TSP SOYA SAUCE, 1 TBSP EACH OF GREEN CHILLI SAUCE & RED CHILLI SAUCE, MIX
  13. ADD THE READY FRIES, MIX WELL
  14. ADD 1/2 CUP HERSHEY'S STRAWBERRY FLAVORED SYRUP
  15. GIVE A QUICK MIX
  16. SPRINKLE SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, 1/2 TSP SESAME SEEDS, MIX
  17. REMOVE ON A SERVING PLATE
  18. GARNISH WITH A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED SPRING ONIONS, GREEN GARLIC, CORIANDER LEAVES & SESAME SEEDS
  19. DRIZZLE SOME HERSHEY'S STRAWBERRY FLAVORED SYRUP ON TOP, SERVE HOT
