Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dahlia
  2. Masoor dal
  3. Arhar dal
  4. tomato - 1
  5. haldi - 1/2 tspn
  6. salt
  7. pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
  8. cumin seeds- 1/4 tspn
  9. Red chilli - 1
  10. coriander leaves for garnishing
  11. ghee

Instructions

  1. WASH DAHLIA, MASOOR AND ARHAR DAL
  2. TRANSFER THEM IN A PRESSURE COOKER
  3. ADD WATER
  4. ADD HALDI, SALT
  5. ADD PEPPER POWDER
  6. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO
  7. MIX WELL, CLOSE THE LID, ALLOW 2 TO 3 WHISTLES
  8. FOR CHAUK, HEAT OIL IN A WOK, ADD CUMIN SEEDS, RED CHILLIES
  9. WHEN THEY CRACKLE, ADD IT TO THE KHICHDI
