ABOUT Palak mix sabji RECIPE

This sabji is a combination of spinach, brinjal and potatoes. Usually people and kids dont like to eat spinach but this sabji removes the bitterness of palak because other veggies enhance their flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. spinach - 1/2 kg
  2. Brinjal(long) - 250 gms
  3. potatoes - 2
  4. tomatoes - 2
  5. onion - 1
  6. ginger garlic- 1 tspn
  7. Panchforan - 1/2 tspn
  8. Green chilli - 2
  9. haldi - 1/2 tspn
  10. chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  11. salt
  12. oil

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL, ADD PANCHFORAN, GREEN CHILLI AND ONIONS
  2. WHEN ONIONS TURN BROWN, ADD POTATOES
  3. SAUTE THEM, ADD GINGER GARLIC
  4. ADD HALDI, CHILLI POWDER
  5. ADD SALT AND TOMATOES
  6. NOW ADD BRINJAL CUT LENGTHWISE
  7. MIX, COVER AND COOK FOR 15 MIN
  8. THEN ADD SPINACH, SPINACH WILL LEAVE WATER
  9. COVER AND COOK FOR 20 MIN.
