Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. One cup chickpeas soaked overnight.
  2. Water 4 cup
  3. Black cardamom -2
  4. Salt 1.5 tsp or as per taste.
  5. Oil-1 tbsp
  6. Onion
  7. Tomato -2
  8. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder -1 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  11. Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
  12. Channa masala -2 tsp
  13. Palak one small bunch or 1/2 cup palak puree.
  14. Butter 1 tsp
  15. Onion-1

Instructions

  1. TAKE ONE CUP CHICKPEAS SOAKED OVERNIGHT.
  2. PRESSURE COOK THEM WITH 4 CUP WATER UPTO 8-9 WHISTLES.ALSO ADD 2 BLACK CARDAMOM AND 1/2 TSP SALT.
  3. LIKE THIS
  4. TAKE SMALL BUNCH OF PALAK LEAVES.
  5. ADD THEM TO WATER.
  6. COOK FOR 5-7 MINUTES
  7. TAKE THEM OUT IN COLD WATER ,AFTER 1 MINUTE TAKE THEM OUT OF WATER AND MAKE PUREE OF IT.
  8. TAKE IN A PAN 1.5 TBSP OIL.ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS ,ALSO ADD 1 ONION GRINDED TO IT.
  9. COOK FOR SOME TIME TILL COLOUR CHANGES.
  10. ADD 2-3 CLOVES AND 1 BAYLEAF.COOK FOR SOMETIME.
  11. ADD 1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE TO IT.
  12. 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER AND 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER TO IT.
  13. ADD TOMATO PUREE TO IT.
  14. ADD 1 TSP SALT AND 2 TSP CHANNA MASALA TO IT.
  15. COOK TILL OIL SEPERATES.
  16. ADD PALAK PUREE TO IT.
  17. COOK FOR FEW MINUTES.
  18. TILL OIL SEPERATES.
  19. ADD BOILED CHICKPEAS TO IT.
  20. MIX ALL AND SLIGHTLY MASH THEM
  21. ADD 1 TSP BUTTER TO IT.
  22. ADD 1 CUP WATER IN WHICH CHICKPEAS WERE BOILED.
  23. COOK TILL GRAVY GETS THICK ,ADJUST WATER AS PER NEED.
  24. ADJUST WATER AS PER DESIRED CONSISTENCY.
  25. READY TO SERVE.
  26. ENJOY.
