ABOUT eggless rawa badam cake RECIPE

rawa is semolina and its a healthy version of cake with dry fruits here instead of maida we can use wheat flour too

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1&1/2 cup of semolina
  2. 1/4 cup maida
  3. 1/4 cup almond meal
  4. 1/2 cup melted butter
  5. 1cup powder sugar
  6. 1/4 cup of curd
  7. 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  8. 1 tsp of baking powder
  9. 1/4 tsp of cardmom powder
  10. 1/2 cup of chopped dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1 cup of powder sugar to a bowl
  2. Whisk till it turns buttery
  3. Add 1&1/2 cup of semolina and 1/4 cup of all purpose flour to butter
  4. Mix them
  5. Add 1/4 cup of curd and 1cup of milk
  6. Mix the batter thoroughly
  7. Add 1/4 tsp of cardmom powder
  8. Add 1/4 cup of almond powder/almond meal
  9. Mix properly
  10. Cover with lid and leave aside for half an hour
  11. Remove lid after half an hour and add chopped dry fruits
  12. Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of baking powder
  13. Mix it
  14. Grease the pan with butter
  15. Add batter to pan
  16. Tap three to four times
  17. Keep in preheated oven for 40 minutes on 160 degrees celcius
  18. Insert a toothpick or a stick and check if it comes out clean cake is baked
  19. Rawa badam cake is ready to eat
