Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. VANJARAM FISH (SEER FISH)-500 grams
  2. Red chilly paste- 4 Tbsps
  3. Garam Masala Powder-2 Tbsps
  4. lemon juice -4 Tbsps
  5. turmeric powder-4 Tbsps
  6. pepper powder -4 Tbsps
  7. corn flour-4 Tbsps
  8. rock salt to taste
  9. ginger garlic paste 4 tbsps
  10. oil to shallow fry-1/2 liter

Instructions

  1. VANJARAM FISH FRY FOR LUNCH BOX ! BY RAMANI THIAGARAJAN !
  2. Grind red chilly to fine paste !
  3. Arrange red chilly paste, turmeric,ginger garlic paste,fennel,garam masala,pepper powder !
  4. Mix all ingredients !
  5. Clean the fish steaks and dry! apply all ingredients salt and lemon juice!Marinate with corn flour!
  6. Shallow fry the marinated fish in hot oil !
  7. Flip and fry till golden brown !
  8. You can store the marinated fish in air tight box in the fridge !
  9. Fry all steaks gently !
  10. Drop gently in hot oil !
  11. Flip and fry !
  12. Drain the fried seer fish !
  13. Decorate as you like it !
  14. Let the marinated fish rest for 20 minutes at room temperature !
  15. Golden roasted seer fish fry !
