ABOUT Paneer Chilli Threads RECIPE

Soft Cottage Cheese /paneer Threads cut out .Coated in tangy vinegar & mix of spices .These are then rolled in Roasted Vermicelli and deep fried to perfection.Lovely to have at lunch with fried rice or pulao.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 150 grams paneer
  2. Half a packet Roasted vermecelli
  3. Oil to deep fry
  4. 1 tspn vinegar
  5. 1 tspn red chilli powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tblspn ginger garlic paste
  8. Pinch of ajinomoto optional
  9. Pinch of red food color /tandoori color optional
  10. Sweet Chilli Sauce to serve

Instructions

  1. CUT PANEER PIECES LONG AND 1 INCH THICK
  2. MIX THE DRY MASALAS NOW
  3. ADD OIL ENOUGH TO FRY THE THREADED PANEER
  4. HEAT OIL WELL MIX SOME VINEGAR AND WATER IN MASALA
  5. FOLD IN THE PANEER COATING IT WITH THE READY MASALA MIX
  6. COAT EACH OF THESE PANEER PIECES WITH THE ROASTED VERMECELLI AND START FRYING
  7. DEEP FRY TILL GOLDEN AND KEEP MEDIUM FLAME TO AVOID BURNING
  8. DRAIN EXCESS OIL AND REMOVE THESE PANEER CHILLI TREADS IN A TRAY
  9. REPEAT THE PROCESS WITH ALL PANEER STRIPS
  10. YOU HAVE YOUR PANEER CHILLI THREADS READY TO SERVE
  11. SERVE WITH SWEET CHILLY SAUCE, HOT.
