ABOUT Coffee Chiffon Cake RECIPE

This ia a mild sweet cake ,best served with tea, coffee or milk.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cake flour 50 gm
  2. Milk 55 gm mixed with 1 tsp coffee
  3. Oil 20 gm
  4. 3 egg whites and yolk
  5. 45 gm caster sugar
  6. 10 gm corn startch
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. ADD 50 GM FLOUR IN 20 ML WARM OIL
  2. MIX INTO A SMOOTH PASTE
  3. ADD 3 EGG YOLKS ONE AT A TIME, BLEND IN
  4. ADD 1 TSP COFFEE MIXED WITH 55 ML MILK
  5. MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER, KEEP ASIDE
  6. BEAT THE EGG WHITES WITH 45 GM CASTOR SUGAR
  7. BEAT TILL SOFT PEAKS ARE FORMED
  8. ADD 1/3 EGG WHITES TO COFFEE- FLOUR MIX & COMBINE
  9. ADD 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  10. POUR MIX INTO BEATEN EGG WHITES
  11. FOLD IN SLOWLY
  12. POUR IN LINED CAKE TIN
  13. TAP TO RELEASE AIR BUBBLES
  14. MOVE A TOOTH PICK INSIDE THE TIN TO BREAK AIR BUBBLES
  15. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 °C FOR 25 MINS
  16. ONCE DONE COOL, CUT & SERVE
