ABOUT Fried rice RECIPE

A delicious fried rice made with some left over rice, a perfect accompaniment with some spicy curry on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Boiled rice - 1 cup
  2. Salt
  3. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Chopped green chilli - 2 tbsp
  5. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Ghee/refined oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok with ghee/refined oil. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Now add the chopped green chillies, followed by the powdered masalas.
  3. Saute for few seconds and then add the salt.
  4. Then add the cooked rice and mix well, garnish with some coriander leaves and serve.
