Ingredients Serving: 9

  1. Tight dough (maida{3-4cup}+1/4 cup oil+carom seeds+Salt {1 tsp} + water?
  2. Soaked moong daal -2 cups
  3. Garam masala-1 tsp
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Chaat masala -1.5 tsp
  6. Green chilli (Chopped)- 1
  7. Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped coriander leaves
  9. fenugreek leaves -1 tsp
  10. turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  11. coriander powder -1 tsp
  12. Grated garlic -1.5 tbs
  13. oil -1-2 tbs
  14. cumin seeds -1 tsp
  15. asafoetida (heeng)- 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. IN 1 TSP HOT OIL, ADD 1 TSP CUMIN & 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA
  2. 1 GREEN CHILLI
  3. ADD 2 CUPS SOAKED MOONG DAAL
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP : TURMERIC & RED CHILLI, 1TSP CORIANDER,1.5 TSP CHAAT MASALA AND 1.5 TBSP GRATED GARLIC
  5. STIR FOR 2 MINS
  6. ADD 1 TSP KASURI METHI AND CORIANDER
  7. ADD FEW DROPS OF WATER AND COVER AND COOK FOR 5-7 MINS
  8. STUFFING IS READY, COOL FOR 10 MINS
  9. OUT OF TIGHTLY KNEADED DOUGH ( 4 CUPS FLOUR+ 1TSP CAROM SEEDS+1/4 CUP OIL+ 2 TSP SALT), ROLL OUT ROTIS
  10. KEEP 2-3 TBSP OF STUFFING ON TOP
  11. FOLD STUFFING IN
  12. PRESS GENTLY
  13. PLACE ALL BALLS ON A GREASED BAKING TRAY AND DRIZZLE FEW DROPS OF OIL ON TOP
  14. PLACE IN OVEN, BAKE AT 200 DEG FOR 20-25 MINS
  15. DRIZZLE SOME TAMARIND CHUTNEY AND SERVE WITH RED- GREEN SALSA
