Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. One pkt amul milk
  2. 125 gm sugar
  3. One tbl spn lemon juice or vinegar
  4. Half tea spn fine semolina
  5. Few drop ghee

Instructions

  1. BOIL 500 ML OF TONED MILK
  2. AS THE MILK COMES TO A BOIL, TAKE OFF HEAT & STIR FOR 1 MINUTE
  3. ADD 1 TBSP VINEGAR / LEMON, REST IT FOR 1 MINUTE
  4. ADD SOME ICE COLD WATER
  5. STRAIN IN A MUSLIN CLOTH & POUR SOME WATER
  6. SQUEEZE OUT EXCESS WATER
  7. HANG IT UP FOR 10 MINS
  8. PUT THE CHENA ON A GREASED PLATFORM & KNEAD
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP SEMOLINA
  10. KNEAD INTO A SMOOTH DOUGH
  11. SHAPE INTO SMALL BALLS
  12. MIX 5 CUPS OF LUKEWARM WATER INTO 125 GMS SUGAR
  13. POUR THE SUGAR SOLUTION INTO A COOKER
  14. BRING TO A BOIL, ADD 1 TSP MILK
  15. PUT THE DOUGH BALLS IN CHASHNI
  16. TAKE OFF GASKET FROM THE LID, PUT IT ON, COOK ON HIGH FLAME FOR 12 MINS
  17. TAKE OFF HEAT, COOL
  18. SERVE CHILLED
