ABOUT POTATO CRISPY MURUKKU RECIPE

This recipe is quite easy if all the ingredients are ready. Kids love to eat crispy snacks all time especially potato chips etc... Here I made a variation of adding potatoes to rice flour, roasted gram, onion etc..Here you have carbohydrates, protein, healthy fat etc.. Especially its made at home with love to all in the family... Its a must try recipe by all..

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Potato 2 boiled and mashed
  2. Rice flour 1 cup
  3. Roasted gram 1cup
  4. Onion 1 make it into paste
  5. Butter 2tsp
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Cumin seed 11/2tsp
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. POTATO CRISPY MURUKKU.... EVERYTHING IS READY TO GET START IN MAKING CRISPY POTATO MURUKKU..
  2. ADD MASHED POTATO, RICE FLOUR, ROASTED GRAM FLOUR POWDER
  3. ONION PASTE, CUMIN SEED, BUTTER
  4. SALT TO TASTE
  5. THOROUGHLY MIX WELL ALL THE INGREDIENTS
  6. DON'T ADD WATER. ONION PASTE COMBINES THE DOUGH WELL..
  7. THIS IS THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY
  8. SIMULTANEOUSLY HEAT OIL IN LOW FLAME WHILE PREPARING THE MURUKKU DOUGH... APPLY OIL TO THE MURRUKKU PRESS...
  9. TAKE ENOUGH QUANTITY OF THE DOUGH TO FILL THE PRESS..
  10. TAKE A LADDEL PRESS DOUGH IN SHAPE OF MURUKKU ON TO IT OR DIRECTLY PRESS IN THE OIL...
  11. JUST ADD THE DOUGH GENTLY INTO THE OIL..
  12. DO NOT DISTURB BY TURNING SIDES....
  13. WHEN THE OIL SPLUTTER SOUNDS STOP REMOVE IT FROM THE OIL AND TRANSFER IT TO SPREADED TISSUE PAPER
  14. IT'S DONE
  15. NOW POTATO CRISPY MURUKKU IS READY TO SERVE WITH COFFEE OR TEA... KIDS LOVE AND FINISH IT IN NO TIME...
