ABOUT BHARWAN TANDOORI AALOO RECIPE

Bharwan tandoori aaloo is a favorite starter dish in parties. Cottage cheese stuffed baked potatoes coated with spiced curd.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. potatoes medium sized 5
  2. For stuffing
  3. paneer grated 1 cup
  4. Green coriander chopped 1 tbsp
  5. Chopped dry fruits 1 tbsp
  6. Chat masala 1 tbsp
  7. For marination
  8. Hung curd 1/2 cup
  9. fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
  10. ginger and green chilies paste 1 tbsp
  11. salt 2/3 tesp
  12. turmeric powder 1/2 tesp
  13. coriander powder 1/2 tesp
  14. Garam masala 1/2 tesp
  15. mustard oil 1 tbsp
  16. lemon juice 1 tbsp
  17. Green chilies 2

Instructions

  1. PEEL POTATOES AND SCOOP OUT CENTRE OF THE POTATOES TO MAKE EMPTY BARRELS.
  2. FOR STUFFING IN A MIXING BOWL ADD 1 CUP GRATED PANEER, GREEN CORIANDER LEAVES, CHOPPED DRY FRUITS.
  3. ADD GREEN CHILIES AND CHAT MASALA. MIX WELL.
  4. FILL POTATO BARRELS WITH PREPARED STUFFING.
  5. FOR MARINATION IN A MIXING BOWL TAKE HUNG CURD, GINGER-CHILLI PASTE, FENUGREEK LEAVES.
  6. SEASON WITH SALT, TURMERIC POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER.
  7. ADD GARAM MASALA.
  8. ADD MUSTARD OIL.
  9. ADD LEMON JUICE.
  10. PLACE STUFFED POTATOES IN MARINATION.
  11. COAT WELL.
  12. PRICK WITH A FORK.
  13. LET IT MARINATE FOR TWO HOURS.
  14. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 220 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES.
  15. BAKE TILL GOLDEN.
