This is a traditional gujarati dish. People of gujarat enjoy yumminess of this dish during vrat/ fast. Also it is all time favourite lunch box filling for kids. Easy to make, it is mildly sweeter in taste. Combination of potato and peanuts with mild sweet taste makes it yummy!

  1. Potatoes -3
  2. Oil to fry
  3. Powdered sugar -1 tablespoon
  4. Black pepper powder-1 teaspoon
  5. Cumin powder -1 teaspoon
  6. Chopped dry fruits ( Almonds,Cashews nuts,Green Raisins) -1/2 cup
  7. Peanuts-1 tablespoon
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. PEEL THE POTATOES AND GRATE IT THICK
  2. INGREDIENTS POTATOES -3 POWDERED SUGAR -1 TABLESPOON SALT TO TASTE CUMIN POWDER -1TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER POWDER-1TEASPOON CHOPED DRY FRUITS ( ALMONDS,CASHEWS,RAISINS) 1/2 CUP PEANUTS -1TABLESPOON
  3. WASH THE GRATED POTATOES 3-4 TIMES WITH WATER
  4. PAT DRY THE WASHED GRATED POTATOES WITH THE HELP OF ANY DUPPATTA OR CLEAN COTTON CLOTH.
  5. NOW DEEP FRY THESE GRATED POTATO TILL ITS COLOR CHANGES TO GOLDEN BROWN. PUT IT IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL
  6. KEEP READY ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS.
  7. NOW FRY CHOPPED ALMONDS AND CASHEWS
  8. MIX IT IN THE BOWL.
  9. FRY PEANUTS .
  10. BY THAT TIME ADD THE RAISINS IN THE LARGE MIXING BOWL.
  11. ADD FRIED PEANUTS INTO IT.
  12. ADD SUGAR POWDER, SALT, BALCK PEPPER POWDER, AND CUMIN POWDER INTO IT .
  13. MIX IT PROPERLY
