ABOUT Rasmalai Popcorn RECIPE

Inspired by Diwali, I have combined a great movie snack with rasmalai-a popular Indian dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Popped corn 3 cups
  2. White chocolate 100 gms
  3. Masala milk powder 2 tsp
  4. Saffron a pinch
  5. Butter 1 tbsp
  6. Chopped pistachio 2 tbsp
  7. Chopped almonds 1 tbsp
  8. Yellow gel color optional

Instructions

  1. Add a few strands of saffron in 1 tsp melted butter.
  2. Melt 100 gms white chocolate in the microwave.
  3. Add 2 tsp masala milk powder into the melted chocolate. Mix well.
  4. Add 2 drops of yellow food colour.
  5. Pour the saffron butter into the chocolate mix. Mix well.
  6. Pour the chocolate mix over 4 cups freshly popped corn.
  7. Spread the popcorn on a lined baking sheet and sprinkle 2 tsp chopped pistachios.
  8. Add 1 tsp chopped almonds. Wait for a few minutes to let the chocolate set.
  9. Store in an airtight bag or container.
