Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. cashew 3/4 cup
  2. Grounded sugar 2 tablespoon
  3. Cocoa powder 2 tablespoon
  4. Milkmaid 2 tablespoon
  5. Milk 1 tablespoon
  6. For filling
  7. Desiccated coconut powder 3 tablespoon
  8. Grounded sugar 2 tablespoon
  9. Milk 1 tablespoon
  10. saffron 1 pinch
  11. lemon yellow colour 1 pinch
  12. almonds 6
  13. Silver foil


  1. Grind 3/ 4 cup of broken cashew in pulse mode
  2. And make a smooth powder
  3. Take a mixing bowl,add cashew powder cocoa powder and grounded sugar
  4. Add milkmaid and mix well
  5. Make a smooth dough with the help of little milk
  6. Make the shape of Diya with the help of silicon mould
  7. Keep it in the refridegerator for 10 minutes
  8. De mould all diyas and keep aside
  9. Add 2 pinches of saffaron to the mix
  10. Mix dessicated coconut powder in a mixing bowl and add safaron milk in it
  11. Now add lemon yellow colour and 2 tablespoon of milkmaid in it.
  12. Mix well with the help of the hand
  13. Filling is ready
  14. Take Diya and fill it with a dollop of yellow colour coconut mixture
  15. Add almond in the place of Bati
  16. Now Diya Bati is ready
  17. Press siliver foil on the rim of the Diya Bati
  18. Diya BATI is ready for DIWALI PUJA.
