Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Wheat flour 2cups
  2. Garlic 2 or according to choice
  3. White sesame seeds 2 teaspoon
  4. Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon


  1. Take 2 cup wheat flour and tie it in a kitchen towel or muslin cloth
  2. Tie it nicely
  3. Add water in a pressure cooker and place a stand
  4. Place the tied cloth in a separator and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Let the steamed flour cools completely.Sift the flour well by breaking the the lumps.
  6. The steamed wheat flour is ready.
  7. Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,sesame seeds and 1 teaspoon oil.
  8. Add salt as per the taste.
  9. Add garlic in a mixer jar
  10. Grind garlic with little water and use the water for mixing the dough
  11. The dough has to be neither hard or soft.
  12. The dough is ready to make Chakalis
  13. Use any hand press to make chakalis
  14. Fill the dough in the chakali press and make chaklis.
  15. Fry them in hot oil and relish the yummy Chakalis.
