Motichoor ladoo is an indian sweet.It is different from boondi ladoo as they are prepared with tiny boondi and method is bit digferent.I tried for the first time making these tiny boondi ladoo.Hope you all like it.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Besan 1 cup
  2. Orange food colour 1/4 teaspoon
  3. Milk 3 tablespoon
  4. Salt a pinch
  5. Oil/ghee to deep fry
  6. Melon seeds 1tablespoon
  7. Sugar 3/4 cup
  8. Water 1cup
  9. Elaichi powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon


  1. Add 3 tablespoon milk and 1/4 teaspoon orange food color to 1 cup sieved gram flour
  2. Add a pinch of salt and some water to make a smooth batter
  3. Pour in boondi of the batter into hot oil
  4. Take of heat when golden brown and crisp,.Keep it aside
  5. Boil 1 cup of water and 3/4 cup sugar till the syrup attains a one string consistency
  6. Take of heat, add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  7. Add the fried boondi
  8. Mix and keep it aside for 30 minutes
  9. Grind the boondi
  10. Shape into ladoos
  11. Store in an airtight container
