ABOUT Assorted Chocolate Box RECIPE

Homemade chocolates are easy to prepare and can be made using variety of flavors, shapes etc. Quite reasonable and best for gifting. In this recipe I have used sweetened dark chocolate. Chocolate stuffed with flavored biscuits, Gulkand, dry fruits.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Dark chocolate (Sweetened or semi sweetened​)- 400 grams
  2. Mix dry fruits - 1/2 cup (Roasted Almonds, Roasted Cashew nuts, Raisins, Pistachios)
  3. Gulkand - 2 tablespoon
  4. Flavored biscuits - 12-15 ( Round and square)
  5. Chocolate wrappers - 15-20
  6. Chocolate wrapping Twisters - as required
  7. Gift box for packing chocolates
  8. Chocolate Moulds (polycarbonate or silicone)

Instructions

  1. Melt chopped dark chocolate in double boiler method or in oven for 1 minute. Keep checking every after 10 seconds.
  2. Keep stirring after each interval. Do this till chocolate melts completely.
  3. Take square block mould. Pour 1/2 tablespoon melted chocolate in each square block. Spread evenly.
  4. Place coffee flavored biscuit in the center of each block.
  5. Fill up with melted chocolate. Level up all the edges using butter spatula. Tap it and keep in the freeze.
  6. Take round block mould.
  7. Pour 1/2 tablespoon melted chocolate in each block. Spread evenly.
  8. Place choco chip flavored round biscuit in the center of each block.
  9. Top it with melted chocolate. Tap it and keep in the freeze.
  10. Take multidesign silicone mould. Fill 1/2 with melted dark chocolate. Tap it for even distribution.
  11. Place roasted almond in one Block. Roasted cashew nut in second block. Repeat the process with pistachios, raisins, and 1/2 tsp Gulkand.
  12. Pour melted chocolate slowly. Fill the blocks completely.
  13. Top it with some crushed dry fruits mixture.
  14. Tap it and keep in the freeze for 15 minutes or till all chocolates are set.
  15. Demould all chocolates over a plate.
  16. Take chocolate wrapper. Place chocolate in the center.
  17. Bring together all the edges. Tie with chocolate wrapping twister.
  18. Now take square chocolate. Place in the center of wrapper. Fold it from all the slides.
  19. Repeat the process with round chocolate. This wrapper is slightly different from twist tie Chocolate wrapper.
  20. Take gift box. Arrange chocolates accordingly. Gift bags of your choice can be used.
  21. Cover and gift it.
