Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida 2cups
  2. Sugar 11/2 cups
  3. Dalda 200 grams
  4. Vanilla extract 1teaspoon
  5. Green colour 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Cashew 10
  7. Almond 10
  8. Water 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Maida Sugar Dalda Vanilla extract Green colour Cashew Almond
  2. Melt dalda in a vessel
  3. Add maida to the melted dalda
  4. Mix thoroughly without any lumps
  5. Maida has to cook well in dalda.bubbly consistency as shown. Switch off flame.
  6. Fry cashew and almond.
  7. Keep it aside.
  8. Add sugar in a thick bottom kadhai with little water.
  9. Wait sugar to melt.
  10. Try the sugar syrup for its consistency in a small plate of water.
  11. Soft rolling ball consistency required
  12. Add maida dalda mixture to the sugar syrup.
  13. Mix thoroughly and continuously. Switch off the flame.
  14. Mixture has to be cooked and combined with the heat of the heavy bottom kadhai.
  15. Add vanilla extract and mix well
  16. The mixture has to be in a ball consistency.
  17. Divide mixture into two parts. Spread one part in a greased tray.
  18. Do not smooth the layer.
  19. Add green colour to the leftover mixture and mix well.
  20. Colour has to coat evenly.
  21. Now spread this mixture on the top of white mixture.
  22. Level it with the help of flat spoon.
  23. Garnish with cashew and almond.
  24. Cut according to the desired shape. Celebrate deepavali with this colourful sumptuous sweet.
