Festivals are very important because nowadays in merocities it is very difficult to meet our relatives and friends but festivals are best reason for meeting with each other.we have parties and i am presenting starter in which i made papri chat not regular but it is different because it is baked and secondly i use chana daal in it.hope you will like it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flour 1 cup
  2. Salt
  3. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  4. Jeera 1 teaspoon
  5. Boiled chana daal 1 cup
  6. Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  7. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt
  10. Oil 1 teaspoon
  11. Imli chutney
  12. Green chutney
  13. Sev bhujiya
  14. Coriander leaves
  15. Pomegranate seeds


  1. Into 1 bowl of flour, add 1/4 teaspoon cumin and salt to taste
  2. Add 1 tablespoon ghee and mix into a dough
  3. Divide the dough into 2 parts
  4. Roll it out
  5. Prick it all over
  6. Cut small rounds
  7. Place on a greased tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 15 minutes
  8. Keep aside to cool
  9. In 1 teaspoon hot oil, add 1 cup boiled chana dal
  10. Add salt to taste, 1/4 teaspoon red Chilli and 1 teaspoon garam masala
  11. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and take off heat
  12. Put 1 teaspoon chana dal mix on The baked papdis and add 1 teaspoon Tamarind chutney
  13. Add 1/2 teaspoon green chutney
  14. Garnish with sev,pomegranate seeds and coriander and serve
