ABOUT Gud ka paluda with crumble RECIPE

Gud ka paluda is cooked in coconut milk with rice flour and flavoured with fennel and cardamom powder.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Coconut milk 1 cup
  2. Rice flour 2 tablespoon
  3. Jaggery 1-1/2 tablespoon
  4. Fennel powder 2 pinch
  5. Pinch of cardamom powder
  6. For crumble:-
  7. Clarified butter (ghee)1 teaspoon
  8. Peanuts ( roasted and skin removed) 1 tablespoon
  9. Sesame seeds1/2 teaspoon
  10. Coconut powder 1 tablespoon
  11. Chopped almonds 1 tablespoon
  12. Rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a wok add 1 cup of coconut milk,
  2. 11/2 tablespoon jaggery,
  3. 2 tablespoon rice flour and mix well
  4. Now switch on the flame and cook it on low heat.
  5. Stir continousely, till it get thicken.
  6. Add fennel and cardamom powder and mix well.
  7. Transfer it to a greased mould and place in fridge to set for 15 minutes
  8. For crumble:- Heat 1 teaspoon clarified butter
  9. Add 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
  10. 1/2 teaspoonsesame seeds and 1 tablespoon roasted peanuts
  11. Add 1 tablespoon coconut powder and off the flame
  12. Demould the paluda in a plate and garnish with crumble and rose petals.
