ABOUT Onion Samosa RECIPE

It is the most favourite street food available in every part of our country. It is easy to make samosa at home. The stuffing doesnt need any cooking. It will be very easy if you have readymade samosa sheets at home. I learnt how to make samosa sheets at home. It is healthy compared to readymade ones.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For Samosa Sheets 1/2 Cup Maida
  2. 1/2 cup wheat flour
  3. Salt to taste
  4. oil for moyan
  5. For Stuffing Sliced Onion 2
  6. 1/4 cup poha
  7. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Coriander leaves few
  10. oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1/4 CUP POHA, 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER AND SALT
  2. ADD SALT TO SLICED ONION. MIX WELL. THEN ADD POHA, FENNEL SEEDS AND RED CHILLI POWDER
  3. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES
  4. KEEP ASIDE
  5. ADD EQUAL QUANTITY OF MAIDA AND WHEAT FLOUR. ADD SALT AND OIL. MIX WELL
  6. ADD WATER AND KNEAD A DOUGH
  7. ROLL ROTIS. USE CUTTER TO MAKE SAMOSA SHEETS
  8. FRY THE SHEETS ON BOTH SIDES. COOL THE SHEETS
  9. FOLD THE SHEETS
  10. ADD STUFFING. GREASE THE END WITH MAIDA PASTE
  11. SEAL THE ENDS. REST FOR 5 MINS
  12. DEEP FRY SAMOSAS
