Galouti kebabs were make for the nawab of luknow because he couldnt eat regular kebabs , because of week tooth. Galouti means something that melts in mouth. Here is the vegetarian delight .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grams black masoor dal
  2. 50 grams chana dal
  3. 1 inch ginger
  4. 2 green chillies
  5. 1 medium onion
  6. 4 to 5 cloves of garlic
  7. 3 to 5 cashews crushed
  8. 3 to 4 raisins
  9. 1 teaspoon of Garam masala
  10. 1 tablespoon ghee
  11. 2 tablespoons full cream
  12. 2 tablespoon hung curd
  13. salt to taste
  14. ghee for frying

Instructions

  1. SOAK 200 GMS MASOOR DAL & 50 GMS CHANA DAL FOR 8 HOURS, GRIND
  2. FRY 1 ONION & 4-5 GARLIC CLOVES IN 2 TBSP HOT GHEE TILL BROWN, ADD 2 TBSP FRESH CREAM
  3. ADD THE DAL PASTE, SAUTE
  4. ONCE THE MIXTURE TURNS DRY, ADD 3-5 CASHEWS, TAKE OFF HEAT
  5. ADD 3-4 RAISINS, SALT TO TASTE & 1 TSP GARAM MASALA
  6. ADD 2 TBSP HUNG CURD, MIX, SHAPE INTO ROUNDS, FREEZE FOR 10 MINS
  7. SHALLOW FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
