It is kids favourite because cashews and vermicelli gives nice taste to it. Easy to prepare. And it is a different variety of idli can go in tiffin box of kids also and can enjoy in breakfast

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup sooji
  2. 1 cup vermicelli
  3. 1/2 cup curd
  4. 7-8 cashew nuts
  5. salt
  6. 1 tbsp oil
  7. 1 tsp rai
  8. 1 tsp urad daal
  9. 1 tsp chana
  10. 1/2 pouch of eno fruit salt
  11. water as required
  12. Green Chutney for serving

Instructions

  1. HEAT PAN AND ROAST SOOJI TRANSFER IT IN BOWL
  2. IN SAME PAN ROAST CASHEWS
  3. ADD LITTLE OIL
  4. AGAIN ADD OIL AND TAKE VERMICELLI AND ROAST IT ALSO
  5. STIR IT UP AND DOWN AND ROAST PROPERLY
  6. AFTER ROASTING TRANSFER IN SOOJI
  7. MIX BOTH OF THEM
  8. ADD SALT
  9. AND CURD AND MIX
  10. NOW HEAT OIL
  11. AND ADD RAI
  12. ADD CHANA
  13. AND CURRY LEAVES
  14. AND MIX THIS TADKA IN IDLI MIX NOW AND SOME WATER AS REQUIRED
  15. NOW GREASE MOULDS
  16. ADD ENO AND SOME WATET
  17. MIX IT
  18. AND POUR IN IDLI MOULDS
  19. NOW COOK FOR 20 MIN.
  20. OUR IDLIES ARE READY
  21. SERVE THEM WITH DESIRED CHUTNEY
  22. GARNISH WITH CURRY LEAVES CHILLI AND POMEGRANATE SEEDS
