ABOUT Quick Tomato Dosa RECIPE

Authentic receipe of tomatoe dosa. Use the sesonal sour tomatoes to make this dosa as it tastes the best with these. Kids favourite and loved by all.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tomatoes - seasonal sour tomatoes - 1/2 kg
  2. Rice flour - 1 cup
  3. Water - 3 cups or more
  4. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  5. Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  6. onions - 3/4 cup chopped
  7. oil to fry
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. ROUGHLY CHOP 500 GMS TOMATOES
  2. GRIND TO A SMOOTH PASTE
  3. ADD 1 CUP RICE FLOUR, 1 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  4. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TBSP CUMIN
  5. ADD 3/4 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
  6. MIX WELL, ADD 3 CUPS WATER TO MAKE A SEMI THICK BATTER
  7. POUR BATTER ON HOT, GREASED TAVA
  8. COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT ON ONE SIDE THEN FLIP ONTO THE OTHER SIDE, DRIZZLE SOME OIL
  9. TOMATO DOSA READY !
  10. SERVE HOT
