Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole Wheat Flour- 1.5 Cups
  2. Salt-1/2 tsp
  3. Leftover Cooked Rice (cold or at room temperature )-1/2 cup
  4. Red Chilli Powder- 1/4 tsp
  5. Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  6. Amchur Powder- 1/4 tsp
  7. Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
  8. green chillies- 1 chopped
  9. Coriander Leaves- 2 tbsp chopped
  10. Salt- to taste
  11. Ghee- as required

Instructions

  1. KNEAD 1.5 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR WITH 1/2 TSP SALT & ENOUGH WATER INTO A DOUGH
  2. APPLY SOME GHEE, COVER & REST FOR 15 MINS
  3. ADD MASALAS TO 1/2 CUP LEFTOVER COOKED RICE
  4. ADD 1 GREEN CHILLI, 2 TBSP CORIANDER LEAVES & SALT, MIX
  5. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO EQUAL PORTIONS, ROLL OUT ROTIS
  6. PLACE 2 TBSP RICE MIXTURE ON TOP, GATHER THE ENDS, SEAL IT
  7. ROLL OUT AGAIN
  8. GRILL ON A HOT, GREASED TAVA
  9. BRUSH 1-2 TSP GHEE ON BOTH SIDES, COOK TILL BROWN SPOTS APPEAR ON TOP
