Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. boiled kala chana 1cup
  2. boiled potatoes( peel and grate) 3
  3. carrot peeed and grated 1
  4. dry roasted oats ( Dry grind it) 3 tbsp
  5. boiled corn( put in a mixer n give it a pulse to crush them) 3 tbsp
  6. Corn kernels few
  7. finely chopped corriandeer 3 tbsp
  8. green chilli paste of 3 pcs
  9. garlic paste 1 tsp
  10. garammasala powder 1 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  13. Cumin/jeera 2 tsp
  14. 2tbsp mix of roasted unsalted Melon and flax seeds
  15. Oats dry roasted whole 2 tbsp
  16. To serve with : fresh salad
  17. green chutney
  18. Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1 CUP KALA CHANA FOR 6 HOURS, COVER & KEEP ASIDE TO SPROUT, BOIL, STRAIN
  2. DRY ROAST 3 TBSP OATS, GRIND & KEEP ASIDE
  3. MIX 1 GRATED CARROT & 1 CUP COARSELY CRUSHED, BOILED CHANA
  4. ADD 3 TBSP CRUSHED CORN, 3 BOILED & GRATED POTATOES
  5. ADD 3 TBSP ROASTED GROUND OATS, 2 TBSP WHOLE OATS
  6. ADD 1 TSP GARLIC PASTE, 1 TSP GREEN CHILLI PASTE, 3 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER
  7. ADD 1 TBSP ROASTED FLAX SEEDS, 1 TBSP MELON SEEDS
  8. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI, SALT TO TASTE, SOME BOILED CORN
  9. ADD 1 TSP GARAM MASALA, 2 TBSP CUMIN POWDER
  10. SHAPE MIX INTO ROUND TIKKIS
  11. SHALLOW FRY ON A HOT & LIGHTLY GREASED NON STICK TAVA
  12. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN, TAKE OFF HEAT
  13. Serve hot with fresh salad Nd green chutney or sauce
