Another sugar free healthy way to include the superfood-carrot to your kid’s diet. The carrots available in winters are sweet and juicy; combined with condensed milk, let’s us forget sugar. Buttermilk only intensifies the taste to perfection. Try this cake and you will keep making it again!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 150 gms whole wheat multigrain flour
  2. 2 medium carrots grated fine
  3. 200 ml Condensed Milk
  4. 100 ml buttermilk (used for baking)
  5. A pinch of salt
  6. 1/2 tspn baking soda
  7. 1 tspn baking powder
  8. 2 tbspn olive oil
  9. 2 ml of melted butter
  10. 1 tbspn vanilla Essence
  11. 1/2 tbspn cinnamon powder
  12. A handful of chopped almonds and raisins


  1. Sieve the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder
  2. Empty the condensed milk tin in another mixing bowl
  3. Add the buttermilk and mix well
  4. Add olive oil and vanilla Essence and blend all the ingredients well
  5. Add grated carrots and fold in well
  6. It’s now time to add the sieved dry ingredients. Mix well
  7. Throw in the almonds and raisins and mix
  8. Grease a bread loaf pan with melted butter
  9. Pour the mix prepared to the greased pan,spreading it well
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 200 degree celcius
  11. Check if a fork comes out clean after baked
  12. Yummy healthy carrot cakes are ready to be cut into slices
  13. Store in airtight box
