ABOUT Buffvada RECIPE

Delicious buffvada stuffed with green peas, green spices and dry spices from our kitchen. Perfect snacks for kids and everyone. Crispy and spicy tea time snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For stuffing :-
  2. Green peas 1 bowl/ 250 grams
  3. Green chilli 4
  4. Ginger 1 piece
  5. Chopped green garlic 1/2 cup
  6. Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  7. Lemon 2
  8. Sugar 2 tbs
  9. Dhaniya jeera powder 2 tbs
  10. Salt 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala 1 tbs
  12. Oil 2 tbs
  13. Jeera 1/4 tsp
  14. Hing 2 pinch
  15. Turmeric powder 2 pinch
  16. Chopped cashew 7-8
  17. Raisins 1 tbs
  18. For cover :-
  19. Boiles potatoes 4
  20. Salt 1/2 tsp
  21. Cornflour 1 bowl
  22. Oil for deep dry
  23. For serving :-
  24. Green chatni
  25. Sweet chilli sauce

Instructions

  1. KEEP ALL INGREDIENTS READY TO MAKE STUFFING FOR BUFFVADA.
  2. ADD 4 CHOPPED CHILLI AND CHOPPED GINGER PIECE.
  3. CRUSH THE GREEN PEAS AND CHILLI GINGER IN CHILLI CUTTER.
  4. HEAT 2 TBS OIL ADD 1/4 TSP JEERA THEN ADD 2 PINCH HINGAND 2 PINCH TURMERIC POWDER.
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED GREEN GARLIC AND COOK FOR A MINUTE.
  6. ADD CRUSHED PEAS AND CHILLI GINGER MIXTURE.
  7. ADD 2 TBS SUGAR, 2 TBS DHANIYA JEERA POWDER AND 1 TSP SALT.
  8. ADD LEMON JUICE AND MIX IT.
  9. COOK IT FOR 2-3 MINUTES.
  10. ADD 1/2 CUP CORIANDER LEAVES AND 1 TBS GARAM MASALA.
  11. ADD CHOPPED CASHEW AND RAISINS AND MIX IT.
  12. COOK FOR NEXT 5 MINUTES. THEN REMOVE FROM FLAME. STUFFING IS READY.
  13. TAKE A PLATE ADD 4 BOILED AND PEELED POTATOES, SALT AND1 BOWL CORN FLOUR.
  14. START KNEEDING THE DOUGH FROM MIXTURE.
  15. MAKE A BALLS FROM POTATO MIXTURE THEN STUFF THE GREEN MIXTURE BALL.
  16. NOW SEAL THE ALL SIDES AND MAKE A BALL.
  17. HEAT THE OIL IN KADAI THEN ADD BALLS FOR DEEPFRY.
  18. FRY IT TILL IT TURN CRISPY AND GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOUR.
  19. FRY ANOTHER BATCH OF BUFFVAD AND KEEP READY.
  20. BUFFVADA IS READY TO SERVE.
  21. SERVE IT WITH GREEN CHATNI AND SWEET CHILLI SAUCE.
