ABOUT Aloo Parantha Sticks RECIPE

A new way to eat aloo parathas. Childrens you know love picky food. The food which can be easily eaten while playing or doing something. That's why this idea came into my mind.. New name but old ingredients and tasty too.I haven't used maida here. I made this with normal wheat flour and paratha stuffing. Only shape changed. And instead of tawa fry i deep fried them. I change the stuffing sometimes like instead potatoes Sometimes i stuff cabbage carrots peas cauliflower onions chanadal chicpeas etc.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  2. 5-6 boiled potatoes
  3. One tbsp red chilli powder
  4. One tbsp coriander powder
  5. Salt
  6. Chopped fresh coriander leaves
  7. Oil for Deep frying
  8. One tbsp oil for mixing in the dough

Instructions

  1. MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS
  2. MIX 1.5 CUPS WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TSP EACH OF SALT & OIL, ADD WATER, KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH, KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINS
  3. ROLL OUT ROTIS WITH THE DOUGH, MAKE STRIPS AS SHOWN
  4. PUT SOME POTATO MIXTURE ON IT, ROLL IT UP & SEAL WITH WATER
  5. DEEP FRY THE ROLLS IN HOT OIL
  6. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  7. REMOVE & PLACE ON TISSUE PAPER
