ABOUT Healthy oats chat RECIPE

Oats is a very versatile ingredient which can be transformed to any tasty dish. Indian dishes are the most loved all over the world. Chat is one such street food of India which can be eaten in the most healthiest way. This is one such way to have chat in the form of oats chat. Oats combined with some dry and fresh fruits alongwith the main spices that go in a chat and final drizzle of honey makes a quick yummy dish for chat cravers and health conscious people. So health watchers do include this chat in your diet.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Quick rolled oats - 1 cup
  2. Moong sprouts - 1/4 cup
  3. Chopped tomatoe - 1/4 cup
  4. Dry fruits (chopped cashews and raisins preferably) - 1/4 cup
  5. Pomogranete - 1/4 cup
  6. Dates tamarind chutney / tomatoe ketchup - 2 tbsp
  7. Honey - 4 tbsps
  8. Spice powders -:
  9. Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder - 1 1/4 tsp (or less)
  11. Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
  12. Black salt - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. DRY ROAST 1 CUP OATS FOR A MINUTE
  2. ADD 1/4 CUP DRY FRUITS AND CONTINUE ROASTING FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES
  3. POUR IN A DEEP MIXING BOWL
  4. ADD 1/4 CUP EACH OF CHOPPED TOMATOES AND SPROUTS
  5. ADD AND MIX : 1 TSP EACH OF ROASTED CUMIN POWDER, BKACK SALT, RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA
  6. ADD 1 CUP OF WHISKED CURD
  7. ADD TWO TBSPS OF DATES CHUTNEY/ TOMATOE SAUCE MIX WELL
  8. SERVE IMMEDIATELY
  9. GARNISH WITH POMOGRANETE SEEDS
  10. DRIZZLE WITH HONEY
