ABOUT Banana Oats Dosa With Topping And Bottom RECIPE

Sweet dosa without sugar filled with fruits, jaggery, honey and coconut milk. It's really a healthy innovative recipe. Good in taste, cools our body.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. banana small 2
  3. water
  4. salt 1/4 tsp
  5. Cooking oil 5 tsp
  6. Peeled and sliced banana 1/2 cup
  7. For topping...
  8. 1/4 cup Kiwi fruit Peeled and chopped
  9. 1/4 cup pineapple Peeled and chopped
  10. 3 tsp honey
  11. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  12. For bottoming....
  13. Grated coconut 1 cup
  14. water 1 cup
  15. Custard powder 1 tsp
  16. jaggery 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. IN A BLENDER COMBINE 1 CUP OATS, 2 SMALL BANANAS AND SALT.
  2. ADD WATER AS REQUIRED AND BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH.
  3. POUR INTO A VESSEL. KEEP ASIDE AND COVER. LET IT FERMENT FOR 4-5 HOURS.
  4. FOR COCONUT CUSTARD MILK- ADD 1 CUP GRATED COCONUT & 1 CUP WATER INTO A JAR.
  5. BLEND.
  6. STRAIN.
  7. ADD 1/2 CUP JAGGERY & 1 TSP CUSTARD POWDER TO THE COCONUT MILK. BOIL.
  8. STIR TILL THICK. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET COOL.
  9. BLEND 1/4 CUP CHOPPED KIWI AND 1/4 CUP CHOPPED PINEAPPLE.
  10. ADD 1 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER & 3 TSP HONEY TO THE KIWI- PINEAPPLE PULP.
  11. STIR WELL UNTIL IT BOILS. LET COOL.
  12. ADD 1/2 CUP OF PEELED AND SLICED BANANAS INTO THE FERMENTED BATTER.
  13. HEAT THE PAN OVER A MEDIUM FLAME. BRUSH WITH OIL.
  14. POUR A TABLE SPOON FULL OF BATTER THEN CLOSE THE LID FOR ABOUT ONE MINUTE.
  15. OPEN THE LID, DRIZZLE 1/2 TSP OF OIL. FLIP THE DOSA AND COOK UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
  16. POUR LITTLE COOLED COCONUT CUSTARD MILK ON A SERVING PLATE.
  17. PLACE A DOSA, DRIZZLE IT WITH THE COCONUT CUSTARD MILK.
  18. ADD ONE MORE DOSA ON TOP OF IT.
  19. SERVE WITH A DRIZZLE OF FRUIT JAM.
