ABOUT MoNugs (Mothak +Nugget) RECIPE

This is my own invention-Yummy Monugs.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled pototo 3
  2. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Cornflour 1 Tablespoon+1
  7. Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  8. Grated cheese 1/2 cup
  9. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Mash 3 boiled potatoes and add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp black pepper powder and 1/4 tsp garam masala. Add salt to taste.
  3. Add 1 tbsp cornflour and 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Mix well.
  4. Form a dough from the mixture. Grease a mothak mould.
  5. Put dough into the mould. Sprinkle grated cheese and close the mould.
  6. Gently remove the mothak from the mould.
  7. Dip into cornstarch and coat with bread crumbs.
  8. Deep-fry prepared mothaks on a low flame until crisp and golden brown.
  9. Serve hot.
