ABOUT Rice Vermicelli Raita Chat RECIPE

Rice Vermicelli bath is common in karnataka. This is my innovation where in I have made this in dahi puri style. If you want too hot, you can add green chilly chutney for this.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rice Vermicelli 2 cup
  2. Oil 4 tsp
  3. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  4. Gram dal 1/2 tsp
  5. Urad dal 1/2 tsp
  6. Onion chopped 1 cup
  7. Capsicum chopped 1 cup
  8. Salt 1/2 tsp
  9. Masala powder 1 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder a pinch
  11. Beans chopped 1 cup
  12. Coriander leaves chopped 1 cup
  13. Ghee 1/2 tsp
  14. Cashews 8-10 number
  15. For raita chat...
  16. Curd 2 cup
  17. Cucumber chopped 1 cup
  18. White onion chopped 1 cup
  19. Salt 1/4 tsp
  20. Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  21. Sev 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. CRUSH THE RICE VERMICELLI.
  2. ADD INTO BOILING WATER.
  3. CLOSE THE LID FOR THREE MINUTES, OPEN IT CHECK THE DONENESS.
  4. IF IT IS SOFT COOKED DRAIN THE WATER AND KEEP ASIDE.
  5. ADD MUSTARD, GRAM AND URAD DAL TO THE HOT OIL FOR TEMPERING.
  6. ADD ONION AND SAUTE WELL IN MEDIUM FLAME.
  7. ADD VEGGIES.
  8. ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND SALT.
  9. ADD MIXED MASALA POWDER, SAUTE WELL AND COOK IN MEDIUM FLAME.
  10. MIX UP THE COOLED VERMICELLI.
  11. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES, VERMICELLI UPMA IS READY.
  12. FRY CASHEWS IN GHEE AND KEEP ASIDE.
  13. TAKE CURD AND ADD CUCUMBER.
  14. ADD SALT AND ONION.
  15. ADD COOLED VERMICELLI UPMA.
  16. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES.
  17. TOP WITH SEV.
  18. GARNISH WITH CASHEWS.
