Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Shredded carrot - 1 1/2 cup
  2. Milk - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 1/4 cup
  4. Ghee - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Dough (half cup Atta + 2 teaspoon maida + salt)
  7. Brown sugar syrup( brown sugar + water)

Instructions

  1. CARROT, MILK, SUGAR, CARDAMOM POWDER AND DOUGH
  2. HEAT MILK IN A PAN
  3. WHEN IT BOILS ADD CARROT
  4. COOK FOR 30 MINUTE UNTILL MILK EVAPORATES
  5. ADD SUGAR AND STIR WELL
  6. ADD GHEE AND CONTINUE TO COOK TILL THE MOISTURE EVAPORATES
  7. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER
  8. HALWA READY
  9. ROLL DOUGH OUT INTO A THIN CIRCLE
  10. CUT INTO LITTLE CIRCLE FOR EACH MOMO
  11. FILL IT WITH HALWA BRING ALL EDGE TOGETHER TO THE CENTRE
  12. PINCH AND TWIST THE PLEATS
  13. HEAT UP A STEAMER, OIL THE STEAMER RACK. AND PLACE THE DUMPLINGS
  14. CLOSE THE LID AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES
  15. TAKE THE MOMOS OFF THE STEAMER AN SERVE IT WITH SUGAR SYRUP
