Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Half cup suji or semolina
  2. 1/4 cup macaroni
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 7tbsp ghee
  5. 1/4 tsp cardamom
  6. 2 tbsp cashews
  7. 1 cup water
  8. 1/2 cup warm milk
  9. Kesar food color (optional)

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS
  2. TAKE 3/4 CUP WATER IN A PAN . NO SALT OR OIL SHOULD BE USED
  3. ADD MACARONI AND BOIL
  4. ONCE MACARONI IS BOILED DRAIN EXCESS LIQUID
  5. KEEP MACARONI ON COLANDER AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  6. IN 2TBSP GHEE FRY CASHEWS AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  7. IN 4 TBSP GHEE ADD SUJI AND SAUTE
  8. SAUTE UNTIL YOU GET FRAGRANT AROMA, KEEP IT ASIDE
  9. IN A SEPARATE PAN, BOIL MILK AND WATER
  10. ADD FOOD COLOR OR SAFFRON NOW IF YOU WISH TO ADD
  11. IN THE SEMOILINA PAN, ADD MACARONI
  12. NOW ADD THE BOILING DILUTED WATER SOLUTION AND STIR TO ENSURE NO LUMPS
  13. ONCE WATER STARTS GETTING ABSORBED, ADD SUGAR AND CARDAMOM
  14. ADD CASHEW
  15. ADD 1TBSP GHEE
  16. MIX EVERYTHING WELL
  17. KEEP COOKING UNTIL IT REACHES HALWA CONSISTENCY, WHEN GHEE SEPERATES. ON COOLING SUJI WILL SOLIDIFY
  18. ALLOW IT TO COOL SLIGHTLY, SERVE WARM
