ABOUT CHINESE TOFU BHURJI RECIPE

Egg bhurji or paneer bhurji are the most common dishes we have heard of. This time I decided to make this dish with a different ingredient and a fusion blend of indian and chinese spices. So this is my CHINESE TOFU BHURJI.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200gms Tofu grated
  2. 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  3. 1 inch ginger minced
  4. 1 green chilli, slit
  5. 2 bulbs of spring onion, finely chopped
  6. 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  7. 1 small capsicum, finely chopped
  8. salt as per taste
  9. 1 tbsp sesame oil
  10. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  11. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1 tsp coriander powder
  13. 2 tbsp schezwan chutney
  14. 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  15. 1 tbsp honey
  16. 2 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP SESAME OIL. ADD MINCED GARLIC & GINGER.SAUTE FOR 30 SECONDS
  2. ADD 2 CHOPPED SPRING ONION BULBS & SLIT 1 GREEN CHILLI.SAUTE TILL ONION IS TRANSLUSCENT
  3. ADD CHOPPED 1 MEDIUM TOMATO & 1 SMALL CAPSICUM. SAUTE FOR 1 MINUTE
  4. 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER 1/4 TSP TURMERIC 1 TSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER. SAUTE ONE MINUTE
  5. ADD 200GRAMS GRATED TOFU. COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES
  6. ADD 2 TBSP SCHEZWAN CHUTNEY & 1 TSP DARK SOY SAUCE. MIX AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES
  7. ADJUST SALT AS PER TASTE. ALSO ADD 2 TBSP FRESH CREAM & 1 TBSP HONEY.
  8. COOK FOR ONE MINUTE AND ITS DONE.
