ABOUT Chinese Bhel RECIPE

This is a fusion food, an Indian bhel with the chinese flavours, a perfect snack for the evening hunger pangs.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Deep fried noodles -100gms
  2. Finely chopped capsicum-1/2 cup
  3. Grated cabbage - 1/2 cup
  4. Finely chopped carrot - 2
  5. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  7. Hot and sweet tomato sauce - 2 tsp
  8. Fried peanuts  - 2 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL IN PAN
  2. DEEP FRY PEANUTS
  3. BOIL NOODLES
  4. STRAIN WATER AND WASH NOODLES IN FRESH WATER
  5. ADD OIL TO THE PAN AND DEEP FRY THE BOILED NOODLES
  6. TAKE THE FRIED NOODLES IN A BOWL AND ADD FINELY CHOPPED CARROT AND CAPSICUM
  7. ADD FINELY CHOPPED CABBAGE TO THE BOWL
  8. ADD HOT AND SWEET CHILLY SAUCE AND LEMON JUICE
  9. ADD CHILLY POWDER, SALT AND BLACK PEPPER
  10. ADD FRIED PEANUTS AND MIX WELL
  11. GARNISH WITH FRIED PEANUTS
