ABOUT Chillizza RECIPE

An innovative fusion and blend of indian gram flour chilla and italian pizza, here i present chillizza!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For pizza topping:- capsicum finely chopped 1 cup
  2. Tomato finely chopped 1 cup
  3. Onion finely chopped 1 cup
  4. Carrot grated 1 cup
  5. Oregano 1 tsp
  6. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar 1 tsp
  9. Red chilli pwd 1 tsp
  10. Butter 1 tbsp
  11. Cheese grated 1 cup
  12. Mayonese 2 tbsp
  13. For chilla:- gram flour 2 cup
  14. Green chilli and garlic paste 2tbsp
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  17. For roti base:- wheat flour 2 cup
  18. Salt to taste
  19. water to knead

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 TBSP BUTTER. ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION.
  2. ADD 1 CUP GRATED CARROT. MIX.
  3. ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED TOMATOES. MIX.
  4. ADD SALT TO TASTE & 1 TSP SUGAR.
  5. ADD 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER & 1 TBSP TOMATO SAUCE.
  6. ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED CAPSICUM & 1 TSP OREGANO.
  7. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER. LET COOL.
  8. TAKE 2 CUP GRAM FLOUR. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS & 1 TBSP GREEN CHILLI AND GARLIC PASTE.
  9. MAKE BATTER. KEEP ASIDE.
  10. TAKE 2 CUPS OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR. ADD SALT TO TASTE & KNEAD A DOUGH.
  11. SPREAD CHILLA BATTER ON A GREASED PAN.
  12. SPREAD PIZZA TOPPING ON THE CHILLA.
  13. SPREAD 1 TSP MAYONNAISE & ADD GRATED CHEESE.
  14. ROLL A ROTI AND COVER THE CHILLA WITH IT.
  15. APPLY BUTTER ON ROTI. LET CHILLIZZA COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES ON LOW FLAME.
  16. AFTER FEW MINS, FLIP THE CHILLIZZA & COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  17. COOK BOTH SIDES OF THE CHILLIZZA WELL.
  18. CUT THE CHILLIZZA WITH PIZZA CUTTER
  19. SERVE WITH TOMATO SAUCE & GREEN CHUTNEY.
