Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup maize flour
  3. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 200 gram paneer
  9. 1 onion chopped
  10. 1/2 cup capsicum chopped
  11. 1 tsp oil
  12. 1 tbsp schezwan chutney

Instructions

  1. MIX 1 CUP FLOUR, 1/2 CUP MAIZE FLOUR
  2. ADD 1 TBSP KASOORI METHI, SALT TO TASTE
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF TURMERIC, RED CHILLI & CORIANDER POWDERS
  4. ADD 1 TSP OIL
  5. ADD SOME WATER, KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH
  6. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO EQUAL PORTIONS
  7. GREASE BALLS, ROLL INTO POORIS
  8. PRICK THE POORIS ALL OVER
  9. ROAST POORIS ON HOT TAVA FROM BOTH SIDES FOR 1 MINUTE
  10. DEEP FRY ROASTED POORIS ON LOW HEAT
  11. IMMEDIATELY DRAIN ON A KITCHEN TOWEL, FOLD INTO A TACO SHAPE
  12. TACO SHELL IS READY, SHAPE ALL OTHER TACOS
  13. HEAT 1 TSP OIL IN A PAN
  14. ADD 1 TBSP GARLIC, 1/2 TSP GREEN CHILLI, 1/2 TSP GINGER
  15. ADD 1 ONION, FRY TILL TRANSLUCENT
  16. ADD 1/2 CUP CAPSICUM, COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  17. ADD 200 GMS COTTAGE CHEESE
  18. ADD 1 TBSP SCHEZWAN SAUCE, SALT TO TASTE
  19. MIX & COOK FOR 1 MINUTE, TAKE OFF HEAT
  20. PREPARE SALAD BY MIXING EQUAL PORTIONS OF CABBAGE, CARROTS, TOMATOES, ADD SEASONING OF CHOICE
  21. ADD 2 TBSP COTTAGE CHEESE MIX INTO EACH READY TACO SHELL
  22. ADD 1 TSP MAYONNAISE
  23. PUT 1 TBSP SALAD DRESSING
  24. SERVE IMMEDIATELY
