ABOUT One pot quick Matki sabji RECIPE

Sprouts are very healthy and proteinacious, this is a perfect side dish for dal and rice or even can be served with some rotis.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sprouts [matki] - 2 cups
  2. salt
  3. oil
  4. Curry leaves - 10
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  6. coriander powder - 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. coriander leaves
  9. tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  10. cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  11. asafoetida - 1/4 th tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat some oil in a pressure cooker pan , add the cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves.
  2. Then add all the spices, salt and the sprouts, with required amount of water. Close the lid and cook until 2 whistles are obtained.
  3. Once the pressure has settled down, open the lid and mix. Check for seasoning and garnish with coriander leaves.
  4. Serve hot with some rotis.
