Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. GAJJAR HALWA
  2. Grated carrots 1 kg
  3. sugar 1 /2 cup
  4. Milk 1/ 2 ltr
  5. INGREDIENTS FOR THE TART: 8 OZ flour
  6. 1 PINCH salt
  7. 100 GRAMS butter
  8. 5 TO 6 TBSP COLD water

Instructions

  1. FOR GAJAR HALWA: 1 KG CARROTS GRATED , 1/2 LTR MILK, PURE GHEE 6 TO 8 TBSP, SUGAR 1/2 CUP.
  2. PUT THE GRATED CARROTS IN A COOKER ADD MILK
  3. GIVE 2 WHISTLES. IN THE MEAN WHILE MAKE THE TARTS
  4. INGRIDENTS FOR THE TART: 8 OZ FLOUR , 1 PINCH SALT, 100 GRMS BUTTER 5 TO 6 TBSP COLD WATER
  5. TAKE THE FLOUR AND START ADDING THE BUTTER.ADD 1 PIECE AT A TIME AND RUB IT IN THE FLOUR
  6. IT SHOULD LOOK ALL CRUMBLY AND BUTTERY
  7. ADD WATER 1 TBSP AT A TIME
  8. FORM A SOFT DOUGH
  9. FLATTEN THE DOUGH
  10. SINCE I DID NOT HAVE TART PANS I USED BACK SIDE OF MY MUFFIN MOULDS.I PLACED THE DOUGH BEHIND THE TIN AND PRESSED IT
  11. TRIM THE EDGES
  12. REPEAT TILL ALL THE DOUGH IS USED.YOU WILL HAVE 4 BIG AND 1 SMALL TART SHELL.KEEP IT REFRIGERATED FOR 15 MINS.
  13. CHECK THE GAJJAR HALWA.MAKE SURE ALL THE MILK IS DRIED UP
  14. ADD RAISINS
  15. ADD SUGAR AND GHEE AND LET IT COOK.IN THE MEANWHILE
  16. BAKE THE TART SHELLS IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 20 MINS. DO NOT BURN THE TARTS
  17. FILL THE TART SHELLS WITH THE GAJJAR HALWA
  18. GARNISH WITH PISTA BADAM
  19. AND FRESH CREAM
  20. THIS IS HOW BEAUTIFULLY THE PIE WILL CUT
  21. CRISPY FROM OUTSIDE AND DELICIOUS FROM INSIDE
