Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Orange 2 only pulp needed (peel the orange and take out skin also)
  2. Orange zest 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Pure desi ghee 1 full tablespoon
  4. Sugar 1/2 cup
  5. Orange food colour 2-3 drops
  6. Cardamom pounded/powder 2
  7. Everyday milk powder 1 cup
  8. Full cream milk 1 cup
  9. Homemade malai/cream 1/2 cup
  10. Dessicated Dry Coconut Powder 3/4 cup
  11. Chopped almonds for garnishing 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. PLACE NON STICK PAN ON FLAME, ADD FULL CREAM MILK AND HOMEMADE MALAI TO IT
  2. ADD PURE DESI GHEE, MIX WELL
  3. ADD EVERYDAY MILK POWDER, KEEP STIRRING
  4. MIX WELL,BREAK THE LUMPS IF ANY SEEN
  5. CONTINUOUSLY STIR WELL, DO NOT STOP STIRRING TILL IT GETS READY, OTHERWISE IT WILL STICK
  6. WHEN THE CONSISTENCY THICKENS ADD SUGAR
  7. KEEP STIRRING, ADD PULP OF ORANGES
  8. MIX WELL THIS WAY, ADD ELACHI POUNDED/POWDER TO IT
  9. KEEP STIRRING, DO NOT STOP EVEN FOR A MINUTE
  10. ADD A PINCH OF ORANGE COLOUR
  11. CHECK THE CONSISTENCY, IT'S CONTINUOUSLY GETTING THICK
  12. ADD ORANGE ZEST
  13. LASTLY ADD DESSICATED COCONUT POWDER, AND MIX WELL
  14. MIXTURE IS GETTING MORE THICK
  15. THIS WAY THE MIXTURE GETS THICKENED AND WILL NOT STICK
  16. FINALLY THE PAN WILL GET CLEAN WITHOUT STICKING AND A NICE NAGPUR ORANGE HALWA WILL BE READY
  17. THIS WAY TAKE OUT IN A BOWL, SERVED GARNISHED WITH CHOPPED ALMONDS
  18. FINALLY A YUMMILICIOUS DESSERT NAGPUR ORANGE HALWA IS READY, SERVE WARM
