Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Tomatoes. -750 gm
  2. Salt- 1/4 tsp
  3. Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
  4. Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Clove powder- 2 pinches
  7. Cinnamon powder- 2 pinches
  8. deggi mirch - 3/4 tsp
  9. sugar- 100 gm
  10. White vinegar- 3 tbsp
  11. Tamarind pulp- 2 tbsp
  12. water 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. IN A PRESSURE COOKER, ADD 750 GMS CHOPPED TOMATOES, 1/4 CUP WATER
  2. ADD 1/4 TSP EACH OF PEPPER, CUMIN & CORIANDER POWDERS
  3. ADD 1/4 TSP EACH OF CINNAMON & CLOVE POWDERS, PRESSURE COOK FOR 2 WHISTLES
  4. BLEND THE BOILED TOMATOES
  5. STRAIN THE PUREE
  6. DISCARD THE SEEDS
  7. BOIL, STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY
  8. ADD 1/4 TSP SALT, 100 GMS SUGAR
  9. ADD 2 TBSP TAMARIND PULP, 3 TBSP VINEGAR, 3/4 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  10. COOK TILL IT THICKENS
  11. WHEN IT COATS THE BACK OF THE SPOON, TAKE OFF HEAT
