  1. Black Urad dal 1/2 cup
  2. Black pepper 1 Tbsp
  3. salt 1 tsp
  4. Rice flour 1 tsp
  5. oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP BLACK URAD DAL FOR 30 MINUTES
  2. STRAIN WATER COMPLETELY
  3. ADD SOAKED URAD DAL TO BLENDER. ADD 1 TBSP PEPPER AND 1 TSP SALT. GRIND COARSELY WITHOUT ADDING WATER
  4. ADD 1 TSP RICE FLOUR. MIX WELL
  5. VADA MIXTURE SHOULD NOT BE STICKY
  6. GREASE HAND WITH OIL
  7. SHAPE VADAS
  8. DEEP FRY VADAS
  9. VADA SHOULD TURN TO GOLDEN BROWN
