ABOUT CAKE POPS RECIPE

Kids favorite party treat, cake slices coated with chocolate ganache and rolled in colorful sprinklers.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 3/4 cup
  2. Castor sugar 1 tbsp
  3. Baking powder 1/2 tesp
  4. Baking soda 1/2 tesp
  5. Yellow food color a pinch
  6. Butterscotch ice cream 1 cup
  7. Heavy cream 1/2 cup
  8. Dark chocolate 1 cup
  9. Colorful sprinklers half cup

Instructions

  1. SEIVE TOGETHER 3/4 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 1 TBSP CASTOR SUGAR
  2. 1/2 TESP BAKING POWDER, 1/2 TESP BAKING SODA, PINCH OF YELLOW FOOD COLOR.
  3. TO SEIVED FLOUR MIX ADD 1 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER SCOTCH ICE CREAM.
  4. PREPARE A THICK BATTER.
  5. MIX 1 TESP GLYCERIN IN THE BATTER. IT KEEPS CAKE SOFT.
  6. GREASE A SMALL CAKE MOULD.
  7. POUR THE BATTER IN GREASED MOULD.
  8. BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES AT 180 DEGREES.
  9. LET THE CAKE COOL DOWN.
  10. CUT THE CAKE IN THIN SLICES.
  11. CUT OUT DIFFERENT SHAPES OUT OF CAKE SLICES.
  12. INSERT TOOTHPICK IN EACH CAKE POP.
  13. HEAT HALF CUP CREAM.
  14. POUR HOT CREAM OVER 1 CUP CHOPPED DARK CHOCOLATE. LET IT SIT FOR 3-4 MINUTES.
  15. MIX TO A SMOOTH PASTE.
  16. DIP ONE CAKE POP IN PREPARED CHOCOLATE GANACHE. LET IT DRIP.
  17. ROLL GANACHE COATED POP IN COLORFUL SPRINKLERS.
  18. PREPARE ALL POPS.
