Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bowl sprouted matki [green moong beans]
  2. Onions 4
  3. Tomatoes 2
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. Ginger 1 inch
  6. Garlic paste 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  8. Kandalasun masala [readymade onion & garlic masala] - 1/2 tsp
  9. Potato 1 chopped
  10. Salt
  11. Red chilly powder -1/4 th tsp
  12. Coriander powder - 1/4 th tsp
  13. dry grated coconut - 2 tbsp
  14. oil

Instructions

  1. HEAT SOME OIL, FRY THE CHOPPED ONION AND COCONUT PIECES UNTIL THEY SMELL.
  2. GRIND THE ONION, COCONUT ALONG WITH THE TOMATOES, GINGER AND GARLIC
  3. WASH THE MOONG BEANS AND THE POTATOES.
  4. HEAT SOME OIL IN A PRESSURE COOKER PAN, ADD THE CHOPPED POTATOES, ONCE THEY ARE FRIED, ADD THE GROUND PASTE MADE EARLIER.
  5. ADD THE MATKI
  6. ADD ALL POWDERED SPICES. SAUTE FOR SOMETIME AND ADD REQUIRED AMOUNT OF SALT.
  7. ADD WATER
  8. NOW CLOSE THE LID OF THE COOKER, ALLOW TO GET 2 WHISTLES, LOWER THE FLAME AND COOK UNTIL YOU GET ONE MORE WHISTLE. OPEN AND GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES BEFORE SERVING.
