ABOUT Masala Chai RECIPE

This is a recipe of homemade Masala Chai, nothing is more comforting than a cup of hot delicious tea.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Spice mix
  2. Dry ginger small piece
  3. 4-5 pepper corns
  4. 1 Clove
  5. 2 Cardamon
  6. Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp or Cinnamon stick small piece
  7. Ashwagandha powder 1/2 tsp optional
  8. Tea powder or leaves 2 tsp
  9. Sugar or Palm sugar 2 tsp
  10. Milk 4 cups

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CLOVE, 2 CARDAMON, 5 PEPPER CORNS AND SMALL PIECE OF DRY GINGER
  2. POWDER THEM
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP CINNAMON AND ASHWAGANDHA POWDER TO THE SPICE POWDER
  4. BOIL 1/2 CUP WATER. ADD 2 TSP TEA LEAF OR POWDER
  5. ADD SPICE POWDER MIX TO THE BOILING TEA
  6. ADD 4 CUPS OF MILK
  7. WHEN THE TEA IS BOILING ADD 2 TSP SUGAR/PALM SUGAR. BOIL FOR 2 MINUTES
  8. STRAIN THE TEA. SERVE HOT
